Sharknado 3: OH HELL NO! Drinking Game!

sharknado3poster

If you missed Sharknado 3: OH HELL NO! this week, don’t be sad…it’s on again this weekend!

Here is the drinking game I talked about with Steve and Tony this morning on Touhyville/Chicago’s Comedy Scene Radio.  (Credit: I found this drinking game on E! Online)

Warning: This drinking game is not one to be taken entirely literally…

E! Online’s Official Sharknado 3 Drinking Game:

—Take a drink every time you can’t remember what happened in Sharknado 2: The Second One, but feel like you kind of need to.

—Take a drink whenever you remember something relevant from one of the other two Sharknados and thus you feel superior to all the other losers in the room.

—Take a drink every time you’re confused but you’ve just accepted your fate.

—Take a drink every time someone else is confused, but you know there’s nothing more straightforward than a man, a chainsaw, and multiple tornados full of sharks.

—Take a drink for every random celebrity cameo. Take two drinks if you find yourself yelling their name out loud for no reason.

—Take a sip whenever you see a horribly CGI-ed shark die in some horrifically hilarious way.

—Take a drink whenever your childhood feels ruined.

—Drink whenever anyone says “Oh hell no!”

—Take a big chug whenever Matt Lauer manages to say the word “sharknado” with a straight face.

—Take a drink when Tara Reid surprises you with her chainsaw hand, even though you’re not sure how you could have forgotten about that.

—Take a drink whenever you feel like you’re watching a strange commercial for Universal Studios.

—Raise a glass and drink in their honor every time someone dies a horrible, hilarious, yet valiant death.

—Take a drink whenever someone is in their underwear for no discernible reason.

—Take a drink whenever Ian Ziering gets a badass slow-motion sequence.

—Take two big drinks whenever you feel the need to yell out, “Called it!”

—Take a drink whenever you really wish you had a mascara shot gun.

—Take a drink when you start wondering about rules for pregnant astronauts.

—Take a drink whenever somebody just can’t stop being the hero.

—Finish your drink when the movie ends and you are literally shouting, “WTF?!”

And there you have it. If you’re still alive by the end, head to the comments to let us know how you’re doing and to weigh in with your thoughts on the end of the movie.

Michael Chiklis Moves To ‘Gotham” – Season 2 Series Regular

DVonTV - Chiklis

As if you need another reason to watch Gotham, Michael Chiklis is joining the show as a series regular as Captain Nathanial Barnes!

Gotham producers say, “he lands on the GCPD like a tornado, ripping out the dead wood of Gotham’s police force. He is a law and order zealot; unafraid of making enemies – on either side of the law. For Gordon (Ben McKenzie), Barnes is a hero and a mentor, someone with whom he can share the burden of heroism. Captain Barnes proves himself to be a strong ally to Gordon… but one day he will make an equally powerful enemy.”

Michael Ironside joins CW’s The Flash as Captain Cold’s Dad!!!

DVonTV - Michael Ironside

The CW’s The Flash announced that they have cast veteran actor Michael Ironside as Lewis Snart — the estranged, abusive father of villains Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Lisa Snart/Golden Glider (Peyton List).

Hollywood Reporter describes Papa Snart as a “cold-blooded, ruthless career criminal. Recently released from prison, he returns to Central City with a plan that will endanger both of his children. In the comics, not much is known about the Snart patriarch other than the fact that he was so abusive to his son — the future Captain Cold — that the boy spent more time with his grandfather who ran an ice truck.”

If you recognize Michael Ironside’s name, but can’t quit place him, he was in Top Gun, Starship Troopers and Total Recall. He was Lois Lane’s father in Smallville.

The Flash returns Oct. 6 on The CW at 7/8c p.m.

Big Brother…Wednesday July 1st

With the first week of Big Brother 17 coming to an end, I thought I would update you with all the alliances so far.  I have been very dutiful watching the live feeds and the houseguests are already making my head spin!  I have to say, I am enjoying the feeds a LOT more this year than last! I highly suggest getting them this year!

#BigBrother anytime, anywhere. With #CBSAllAccess get all 16 seasons on demand + live TV and ad-free classics! Try it today.

I started writing up an alliance chart, but I found a good breakdown written up by KennyN, so i tweaked it a little and added pictures!  (Thanks KennyN!)

The biggest alliance in the house is James/Audrey/Clay/DaVonne/Jason/Meg/Shelli/Jeff. Within that alliance, two separate factions have formed. On one side is Audrey/Clay/Shelli, who have private conversations outside of the group that the others don’t know about. (Side note: Audrey has thrown hints that she wants to cut Shelli so she can have Clay all to herself. Likewise, Clay and Shelli have expressed distrust in Audrey, but as of right now they’re still working with her.)

On the other side is James/Jason/Meg/DaVonne who have bonded over their mutual distrust of Audrey.

This week, a side alliance was formed between Audrey/Clay/Shelli/Vanessa/Austin called “The Sleeper Cell.” It probably isn’t a real alliance as Austin can’t stand Audrey and Vanessa doesn’t trust her, but the alliance was formed nonetheless. My guess is they’re all playing each other and this is their way of trying to cover their asses in case of a power shift.

The Austin/Liz/Jace alliance is falling apart with Jace about to be evicted. Both Austin and Liz know they’re on a sinking ship and they’re trying to jump to other alliances. Austin has thrown out feelers to Steve and expressed interest in working with him, but as of right now nothing concrete has developed. Austin’s most promising prospect is Vanessa, who’s been on her own up to this point and is looking for allies. Both Austin and Vanessa are part of the “Sleeper Cell” alliance (read the paragraph above) but I don’t think that alliance is real and it’s probably going to fall apart.

Jeff and Jackie are working together but they’re downplaying it to the rest of the house.

Jeff and Liz seem to have formed a secret alliance. He proposed a “you rub my back, I’ll rub yours” type situation in which he’ll keep Liz safe if she’ll do him favors in the game. Basically he wants Liz to be his puppet. Not the optimal scenario for Liz, but she agreed to it because she’s in desperate need of an ally. Jeff’s first order? Liz must distance herself from Jace and Austin to avoid being guilty by association.

Becky and John are completely under the radar and don’t appear to be working with anyone.

Poor Steve.  He didn’t even show up on anyone’s list.
